What to Expect
Hours - 7:00 am to 5:45 pm Monday – Friday; Year round. Closures - We are only closed 12 days per calendar year! Click here to view the closure calendar. Teacher Education – Our lead teachers have a minimum of a Childhood Development Associates degree or grater as well as a majority of our teaching assistants. Education is our number one key fundamental in our programs from infant to Pre-K readiness. Teacher Commitment – Our teachers stay with our programs year round! This means that your child will have a stable learning environment all year round without the turn around and disruptions you see in other “daycare” settings. Our teachers are professionals within our wonderful field. Video Cameras - Located in each room (No additional charge). Parents & relatives can view their little ones throughout the day via a secure link through our website. Front Door Security – Parents & teachers must enter a numeric code to gain access to inside of our buildings. No other individual will be permitted inside the building during our operating hours that does not have clearance. Uniform Shirts – Uniform shirts will be awarded with a fully paid registration fee. Uniform shirts are worn Monday-Thursday with Friday being a free dress day. Our parents love the convenience and the children enjoy their “Sprout” t-shirts. Participant in the Quality Rating System – 1st Preschool in West Saint Tammany to achieve this professional goal! Awarded 4 Stars-Covington Campus & Awarded 3 Stars-Mandeville Campus. Additional Learning Areas (located outside of classrooms) – Covington Campus: 900 Square Foot Indoor Play/Gross Motor Area & Cozy Student Library Area. Mandeville Campus: Computer Science, Block & Art Labs ALL meals & Snacks – Nutritious food served daily; breakfast, lunch and 2 daily snacks. In-House Field Trips – We have partnered with the Audubon nature Institute, the Public Library and others to bring field trips to the safety of our secured building.
